Burpee Park                                                                Doylestown, Bucks County

I have passed this park more than a hundred times and never really looked at the park. We went yesterday and well, this is really a great little park!  It is fenced in and shaded which is super nice and right in the town of Doylestown. You can play a bit then head over to Jules for pizza or browse Busy Bee toy store.

Covered pavilion, playground, swings, spinny thing,  basketball and volleyball courts, softball field and picnic area. Plenty of room for everyone.

Bushkill Falls, The Niagra of Pennsylvania            Bushkills, Pike County

The "Niagara of Pennsylvania", Bushkill Falls is among the Keystone State's most famous scenic attractions. This unique series of eight waterfalls, nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains, is accessible through an excellent network of hiking trails and bridges which afford fabulous views of the falls and the surrounding forest.

Hiking the trails and viewing the towering 100-foot Main Falls are not the only activities possible on the expansive grounds of Bushkill Falls. Check out the Pennsylvania Wildlife Exhibit, Native American Exhibit, fish Twin Lakes, visit our variety of gift shops, stop at the Fudge Kitchen for delectible sweets in the Wagon Wheel Pavilion, take a paddle-boat ride, or enjoy a round of miniature golf. At Bushkill Falls there's plenty for the entire family to see and do!

Lake Towahee Park                                           Applesbachsville, Bucks County

This park is definitely off the beaten track. Just north of Nockamixon State Park, Lake Towahee offers everything you need to keep your kids occupied, learning and happy. From playgrounds, covered pavillions and picnic tables to ball fields to ice skating in the winter. . this park is really a gem.

Smith Memorial Playground         April to October                                  Philadelphia

Pretty cool story. The Smith Playhouse was built in 1899 and was built as a playhouse. . not a residential house.  There are 2 playareas. .the playhouse and the outdoor playground.  There are boulders to climb, see-saws, giant jungle gyms, net climbers, giant wooden slide, a playhouse train, make-believe town with bikes and tricycles for transportation, foam blocks room, play kitchen house, activity center and a TOT LOT for kiddos under 5. . there really is a ton to do.

Mason's Mill Park         Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County

I don't know how many times I have been down Byberry Road in Huntingdon Valley and thought I wonder what is down there on Mason's Mill Road. . but now I know. A super cool family friendly park. And it looks brand new. Check out the list of what is has below. . unbelieveable. .Archery and a fishing hole?

This park is perfect for a little get-away with small kids. It has it all!

Spring Summer winter or fall, this park is great.  Whether you are hanging out for an hour or two, or you are making a day of it. . this park will keep everyone entertained. Plenty of slides and forts and swings and things to climb on for the kids, and plenty of moms to chat with.

Sauerman Park Doylestown, Bucks County

13 acre park of sloping ground which is heavily wooded throughout much of the park.1 Softball Field, 1 Tot Lot Play Area, 1 Horseshoe Pit, 1 Volleyball Court, 1 Swing Set, 1 Picnic Area, and a Woodland Trail.Cute little place to meet friends and have coffee while the kids play.

Kids Castle at Central Park                          Doylestown, Bucks County

Kids Castle at Central Park in Doylestown is a MUST SEE!  Kids and Adults will have a ton of fun crawling around the three story castle and the sliding down the giant slide. So awesome.  The entire castle is surrounded by sand. . so bring the shovels and buckets. Also, swings and smaller towers and bridges surround the giant castle for the smaller kiddos.
