Goblins, ghosts, monsters, oh my! Children and adults alike will delight in our 5th annual trick-or-treating event. Costumed children can visit the historic buildings and receive a fun treat, have their face painted, and pick and decorate their own pumpkin. They can also play with colonial toys and games, listen to scary stories, and help a scarecrow stuff his friend. Volunteers will offer blacksmithing and textile processing demonstrations throughout the afternoon and the Boone House and Bertolet Log House will be open for tours. Children (and adults) are encouraged to wear a costume and bring a bag or basket for treats!

Our guides dressed in authentic buckskin clothing will take visitors on a special journey to learn about the Lenape Native Americans while interacting in many hands on activities such as cordage making, fire-making, pottery and crafts, or take part in a candy dance. Learn about Lenape culture at the family life station or enjoy Lenape foods at the cooking station.
