Gettysburg Festival               June 8-16, 2013        Gettysburg, Adams County

The Gettysburg Festival  is June 8 -16, 2013, essentially, a 10-day arts festival presenting world-class artists and performers in a variety of free and ticketed events. The festival celebrates American creativity in all genres of the arts, including:

Enjoy FREE themed tables of crafts for kids every Sunday at noon. The program is staffed my museum educators.

Big Butler Fair       June 28-July 6, 2013            Prospect, Butler County

I grew up going to this fair, and I can assure you, it earns its name! The Big Butler Fair is the largest fair in Western, PA and considered by many to be the best fair in the country. We are proud to be a symbol of American family values. An Opening Parade, rides, food, games and plenty of great fair entertainment.   Youth night is Wednesday with free rides for kiddos. Super fun!

Celtic Fling & Highland Games     June  21-23, 2013     Manheim, Lancaster County

Visit the  Annual Celtic Fling and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Celtic Nations.  Entertainment, Crafts, foods and more! Friday Night hear "The Young Dubliners" & "Enter & the Haggis" starts at 5PM. Saturday and Sunday the Fling runs 11AM to 10PM.

Schnecksville Community Fair     June 17-22, 2013   Schnecksville,  Lehigh County

Take the whole family to this community fair!  Great food, animals entertainment and exhibits. Looks like there are tractor pulls, chainsaw contests and the like!  If you have never seenj these contests, now is your chance, the kids will love it!  The theme this year is "A Century of Celebrating Fairs & Agriculture," reflecting the 100th anniversary of fairs in PA.

Thunder in the Valley is a motorcycle rally, and much more!  Events take place in Johnstown and in neighboring Windber. Of course there are rides & runs, and a biker mall. There is also a Children's Area on the corner of Main & Walnut Streets on Saturday and Sunday. The Grand Thunder Parade will take place on Main Street on June 22 at noon.  Other events include a Sports Stunt Show, Jazz Along the River, and a concert featuring Molly Hatchet!
